But on the bright side, she said she'd kill herself if Cheney runs for POTUS... Run Dick, Run.... posted by: newbie (reply) post date: 07.29.05 (12:36 pm) So a few guards put pink panties over the heads of prisoners and we're torturing them. BULL SHIT! Torture is when you inflict physical and mental PAIN. So we humiliated a few mf'ers that want to kill us, big deal. Where the hell are all you liberals when these same people are cutting the heads off of people trying to earn a living under some pretty hairy circumstances. My son just got back from serving 13 months in Iraq. He didn't humiliate a single Iraqi. What he did do was to help them establish a government that won't gas its citizens and rape their women. He played socker with iraqi children and gave money to people in need. What the F have you done for an Iraqi today? posted by: gesn (reply) post date: 07.30.05 (12:54 pm) Reply to: newbie Look. I have a brother in Iraq today and I have a cousin that was killed when the towers came down. I believe I am entitled to an opinion. As for your comment on panties, feel free to pick the one item that's the least troublesome in our society and ignore the dogs and the sleep deprivation and the threatened electroctions but that doesn't make them any less real. Secondly, if we didn't go into their country in the first place (and there is still not a shred of evidence that Iraqis were threatening the US) then maybe these same iraqis wouldn't want to kill us. As for the real terrorists - the one's that killed my cousin - we're not doing a damn thing to go after them. Instead we're occupying an innocent country (at least innocent of attacking us) and calling it a victory. I'm glad your son is OK and I hope my brother comes out of this as well - but I still feel we had NO reason to be there in the first place. And BTW, what are YOU doing to help in the War on Terror besides supporting the people that are distracting us from it? |
